IUMS 2020 for harmonious diversity Daejeon, Korea

This year, the Federation of Korean Microbiological Societies (FKMS) will host the IUMS 2020 on 12-16 October, 2020 in Daejeon, Korea. IUMS (International Union of Microbiological Societies) is one of the 31 Scientific Unions of the International Council of Science (ICSU). It is considered to be one of the largest and most comprehensive gathering of global microbiological community.

 

The IUMS 2020 Daejeon, Korea, under the theme "IUMS 2020 for harmonious diversity", incorporates three major international congresses, namely the 16th International Congress of Bacteriology and Applied Microbiology, the 16th International Congress of Mycology and Eukaryotic Microbiology and the 18th International Congress of Virology. All congress sessions will be held fully via online conference. The IUMS will also hold the Bridging Sessions to connect those aforementioned congresses with all current issues and different topics of microbiology.

 

The host hopes that this fully-virtual congress event will be an international arena for the exchange of knowledge and ideas among professionals from academia, clinical practice, industry and research institutions to foster cross-discipline collaboration in the spirit of sharing.
